Toy Donations

We greatly appreciate your interest in donating gifts, clothing, and toys for the young people of the greater Spring Branch Bulverde area.  All kids love toys! And, they need jackets and blankets.  These items help area youngsters stay well and enjoy the holiday spirit.

Most toys and gift items are welcome (our most pressing need is for blankets and winter jackets) and you may choose to donate an item from our wish list below.

Please know that all donated items need to be new and unwrapped for easy distribution.

Thanks to your support of previous year’s holiday toy drive, we collected more than 1,000 toys for local children and families.

The goal is to collect new, unwrapped toys and clothing during November and December and distribute them to the less fortunate. Large collection boxes are placed in area businesses.  The ages of the children are from newborn to the teen years with the greatest need between the ages of 1-3 and 12-14.

“The support of the community has always been overwhelming,” said Ann Alston, project originator and many times chairwoman.  “Because of the economic decline many people find themselves struggling to make ends meet, a situation they had never thought they would ever be in.  We are asking for assistance to make a Christmas come true for the children of these families.”

Food Donations

Help an area family by donating food and bringing some normalcy to their lives.  Increased family holiday expenses can sometimes make it difficult for some of our area families to maintain holiday traditions and celebrate special occasions. Thanks to our concerned and generous donors, we have been able to provide holiday food to Provisions throughout the holiday season for those in need. You can help our families have a special holiday by donating non-perishable food items or toiletries.  Young families are always in need of travel size toiletries, baby diapers, cans of formula, and personal care items including toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, and other items.

Wish List - New items only, please
  • Jackets - Should be suitable for our local winter or early spring--any size--we fill needs in all sizes.

  • Blankets - They can be any size or material.

  • Toiletries

  • Baby diapers

  • Cans of formula

  • Personal care items including: toothpaste, toothbrushes, and mouthwash.

  • Cans of tuna
