Attention High School Seniors
"Dayton Tatman Scholarship"
Lion Dayton Tatman passed away December 24, 2018 a the young age of 61 years old. Lion Dayton always went above and beyond the duties of a Lion. The Lions moto, "Where there is a need, there is a Lion", is exactly how Dayton lived his life. He always went out of his way to give back to his community not only through the Spring Branch Bulverde Lions Club but also through advocating for our first-responders, as well as, veterans with Homes For Our Troops. He always helped other organizations in the community who needed extra hands on man power. They knew all they had to do was call him and he would be there to help. Why, you ask? Because "WE SERVE." That is what we Lions do.
The Spring Branch Bulverde Lions Club works very hard to raise money to give back to the community. We are dedicated to serving others and empowering our youth to serve others as well. We are looking for the graduating/graduated seniors who demonstrate the true qualities of Lionism*. In order to meet that specific qualification, you will need to do some work on your part to find out exactly what that means!! *Lionism - Can be summed up in the club motto "We Serve". Go to https://lionsclubs.org/en and scroll through the website for examples.
