WALKER PARTICIPATION & REGISTRATION OPTIONS
1. OPTION 1: ONLINE REGISTRATION
    • Click the red JOIN TEAM button and scroll down the event page to see the teams. Simply scroll through the list of teams to find your team to join and select JOIN TEAM tab.

 

  • OPTION 2: Onsite Registration:
    • You are more than welcome to just show up at 8:30 during registration time to the registration table and complete your registration form and waiver on site along with your registration donation.
 
ENTRY FEE
  • Registration fee is by donation amount of your choice. The entry fees suggested by American Diabetes Association are as follows:
  • Checks payable to: American Diabetes Association

  • ____ $29   Jumpstart-For the 29 million people in the US living with diabetes

  • ____ $52   Jumpstart-For 1952, the year the ADA research program began

  • ____ $110 Jumpstart-For the ADA walkers that give 110% to Stop Diabetes!

NOTE: The event coordinator reserves the right to postpone and reschedule the event due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
 
WALK TIME & LOCATION
Check-in/Registration time: 8:30am                                     Walk Begins promptly: 10:30am                  
Location: Walk will begin at Living Rock Academy and proceed through downtown Bulverde.
COMPLIMENTARY
All participants registered before November 1, 2018 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
All participants will receive a diabetes education packet upon registration.
PROCEEDS
Registration proceeds go to American Diabetes Association in order to fund research, education and prevention awareness.
PARKING
Parking will be provided first come first serve at Living Rock Academy and neighboring business as designated.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top 3 fundraisers or teams

  • Strollers with children are welcome. However, no pets are allowed.

  • An after walk party will be held after the conclusion of the walk for runners and sponsors.

  • Refreshments and music will be provided.

  • All walk participants will be entered into a raffle drawing for the Thanksgiving Feast Package.

  • Other raffle or drawings may be presented day of event.
